About us

I’m Jason Durham — born and raised in The Woodlands, Texas. I grew up riding horses, playing varsity football, and learning the values of hard work, teamwork, and discipline from my dad and the many coaches who shaped my early life.

After earning my B.S. in Agri-Business Management from Texas State University in 2009, I planted roots in the Texas Hill Country, where I’ve lived and worked for over 16 years.

Where Art Meets the Outdoors

Since 2012, I’ve combined my passion for art, design, and construction to create landscapes that are bold, functional, and built to thrive in Central Texas. Every project I take on reflects the natural beauty of the Hill Country, while bringing modern design principles and lasting craftsmanship to your yard.

My Approach

At 4 Element, we don’t just “landscape.” We create outdoor experiences — using native plants, steel, stone, and natural elements that blend aesthetics with purpose. Whether it’s xeriscaping, hardscaping, or full-scale design + build, I bring vision, grit, and relentless attention to detail to every project.

More Than a Landscaper

I live a “Fitness First” lifestyle — because taking care of your body is mental, physical, and spiritual. When I’m not on a job site, I’m usually oil painting Western rodeo scenes, hiking one of Austin’s many trails, lifting weights, or hanging with my two dogs, Remy and Tuk.
